In the snow

For Beginners:
Bunderishka Polyana – The area at the top of the gondola where you will find Panica B and other blue slopes perfect for your first turns.
Ski Barge Chalin - Next to the Chalin Valog lift, a bit steeper but a great place to learn with often quieter lift queues.
Ski run Bansko (Ski Road) – Once you've mastered the basics, this slope is the longest run from the top gondola station down to the town. All skiers use this at the end of the day. Avoid turning near the edge of the piste as expert skiers use this area to descend quickly.

For Intermediates:
Plato 3 & 11 - On both sides of the Plato lift with great views of the town and surrounding mountains.
Shiligarnik 5 & 10 - 5 is steep in places and has the 300m 'wall' ideal for confident intermediates. 10 is more suitable for cautious intermediates.
Banderitza 2 & 4 - Red runs good for confident intermediates.

For the Advanced:
Balkaniada 4 - A quieter red good for faster skiing.
Tomba 9 – Where world cup races take place. It can get icy but in good conditions is ideal for skiing fast with big turns.

Parks

Bansko's Snow Park is located at 2500m at the end of Plato 11 and offers various rails, boxes, jumps, lines and a half-pipe for all levels of freestylers.

APRES-SKI

On the Mountain:

There a several restaurants, self-service, snack bars and umbrella bars around the mountain where you can grab some food or kick back with a drink.

In the Resort:

Banko townOnce you're off the slopes head to the Happy End, Bansko's largest apres-ski bar next to the main gondola station, with a restaurant, bar, large screens, DJs and dance-floor.

The new town is thriving once the sun goes down. Drinks are really cheap and the main street is packed full of bars and clubs offering happy hours, drinks promotions, live music, karaoke, lap-dancing venues, casino and DJs to see you though until morning.

Food is very cheap and the town offers a huge variety of local and international restaurants, from fast food outlets to traditional 'Mehanas' offering hearty Bulgarian food and live entertainment to high-class restaurants in the more luxurious hotels.

A list of restaurant, bar and club recommendations will be provided with your itinerary.

TESTIMONIALS

"We had an absolutely amazing time! Thank you for organising everything so well! The service/transfers from the airport were really smooth. Our rep in Bansko was great with providing us with all the info we needed regarding passes, equipment etc. Ski lessons were great - I still can’t believe how good value the entire holiday was. We all had a wonderful time and cannot recommend yourself and Amigo Ski enough. I'm going to be trying to book another group ski holiday next year - you’ll be the first person I contact to help me organise! Thanks so much for all your help!"
