SUMMER SKIING

Summer skiing has grown in popularity with resorts investing more each year, and is a great way to combine skiing with summer mountain activities such as canyoning, horse riding, kayaking, mountain biking, paddle-boarding, paragliding, white-water rafting, mountain yoga and more.

Summer skiing takes place on high-altitude glaciers which benefit from lower temperatures at night providing hard and fast runs first thing, softening to ideal spring-skiing conditions by mid-morning. Higher glacier resorts close their ski lifts during the afternoon as the snow becomes heavy and slushy, a perfect time to head to the swimming pool, experience one of the many summer activities on offer or of course sample some apres-ski as you kick back on a sunny terrace with BBQs, DJs and endless mountain views!

Summer snowparks are particularly well-maintained offering something for all levels (and soft snow to fall in!) and attract many international freestylers who use the summer parks to practice, which makes excellent viewing whilst you kick back in the sunshine!

So, if you can't wait for winter to get your next ski-fix, don't fancy a long haul to New Zealand, or if you're just looking to do something different, new and exciting for your summer break, stag or hen weekend then get in touch, we love to help!
