On location in Solden, Austria for filming of the new James Bond movie 'Spectre'!
From December 2014 until February 2015 Solden is set to be one of the locations where filming for the new James Bond Movie 'Spectre' will take place. Prepare to be shaken and stirred ladies should you spot Daniel Craig on the slopes during this time.
The innovative Ice Q restaurant which opened on the Gaislachkogl (the area's number one ski mountain) in December 2013 will feature in the movie. Along with the future-looking gondola and spectacular mountain backdrop these will prove to be stunning and exciting movie scenes.
The Ice Q is an outstanding deluxe restaurant with table service, offering gourmet Alpine Cuisine, excellent wines, 94 seats inside, 34 seats on the terrace and an awe-inspiring rooftop terrace. The restaurant was built according to the innovative plans of the Obermoser Architect's Office – as well as the three mountain gondola stations. The glass facades open up new perspectives of the stunning Ötztal mountains. The entire building seems to be transparent and fits perfectly into its natural surroundings. Together with the top station of the 3-rope mountain gondola it ranks among Tirol's undisputed highlights when it comes to architectural masterpieces in ski areas.
