In the coming 2014/15 winter season skiers can look forward to a highly attractive upgrade in the Solden ski area.

After completion of the spectacular IceQ gourmet and design restaurant on top of Gaislachkogl peak at 3048m, Bergbahnen Sölden Mountain Lift Company is focusing on further investments for the 2014/2015 winter season and have replaced the old Wasserkar lift. The new state-of-the-art six-seater chair lift boasts a total hourly capacity of 2400 people, reduces lift time by 2 minutes, and is equipped with comfy weather protection covers for all weathers.

Furthermore a new blue ski run of intermediate difficulty leads from the middle station of Gaislachkogl to the new Wasserkar base station, promising unlimited skiing fun for less advanced skiers who want to reach the area surrounding Gaislach and the Heidebahn 6-seater chair lift.
