APRES-SKI
On the Mountain:
Apres-ski warms up well before the lifts close (sometimes as early as lunch!) and you'll find a fantastic atmosphere on the slopes amongst the numerous mountain huts and bars. The Pilzbar and Elchbar, located at the Penken top station, offer upbeat atmospheres with sunny terraces, DJs and blaring Europop!
For a more relaxed apres-ski head to the White Lounge on the Ahorn, a great place to kick back in deckchairs whilst sipping cocktails and listening to lounge beats. Ask the staff to take you on a tour through the main complex and see the unique works of art made entirely of snow.
In the Resort:
The resort comes alive as soon as the lifts close with fantastic apres-ski bars near the lift base stations offering live music and DJs. Many of the bars in town have a pubby atmosphere and live music, with a few more sophisticated places for a quieter drink. The resort has two main clubs to see you through till 4am with an eclectic mix of music from pop, 80s, soul and RnB to dubstep, drum n bass and house.
You‘ll find restaurants catering to most tastes in Mayrhofen at reasonable prices.
